Ir. Prof. Samson Tai is a Professor of Practice of Data Economy Lab at the Hong Kong Baptist University. Previously, Samson was the Chief Technology Officer of IBM Hong Kong and IBM Distinguished Engineer.  Samson has been active in public services and sits on a variety of committees, industry boards and councils. He also serves as a Director to the ASTRI Board. Samson has a doctoral and a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng MIET), a Chartered I/T Professional (CITP MBCS) and a member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE).
