It is my honour to send my warmest regards and greetings under my new role as the Legislative Councillor representing our ICT industry.

Over the years, we have joined hands to promote the industry development, strive for the best interest of the IT profession and facilitate wider technology applications in the community. One of our remarkable collaborations which demonstrated our success is the Hong Kong International Computer Conference (HKICC). I was a member of the Orgainzing Committee of HKICC and I treasure this well-recognized flagship ICT event in the region. I trust that our passion and enthusiasm in ICT continue despite our change of capacity.

Indeed the theme of HKICC this year “ICT in a Volatile Economy - Creating Opportunities and Managing Risks” has answered how ICT make a difference in this knowledge society. With a focus of the latest ICT trend and innovations, also through a fruitful review of the technology development, I am confident that you will find new angles and be inspired by new ideas of the speakers and guests at the HKICC.
