Mr. Christian KLEZL

Christian KLEZL is Vice President, Cloud Solution Sales at IBM, based in Armonk, New York and heading sales, portfolio and technical enablement for Cloud worldwide. Previously responsible for IBM's Smarter Planet initiative in Corporate Strategy, Mr. Klezl headed IBM��s cloud computing business as part of its European leadership team from 2010 to 2011. He joined IBM in 1998, taking charge of marketing and communications in Central- and Eastern Europe (CEE), Russia, the Middle East, and Africa. From 2000 to 2010, he held several line executive positions, including VP for Infrastructure Services in CEE, Russia, the Middle East, Austria, and Switzerland, Sales Director for GTS in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and CEE and executive leadership roles for IBM Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) in Paris, France.

Before joining IBM, he worked in IT sales and marketing, as an entrepreneur and consultant for corporate clients (such as HP, Microsoft, Philips, and Reuters), and as the manager of a European PR network.

Mr. Klezl studied at the Technical University of Vienna. He holds a degree in marketing, a diploma in management, and an MBA from Henley Management College, UK.
