Bill Chow joined the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in 1993, a precursor of HKEx. He has over 30 years of experience in IT industry and played a key role in the implementation of electronic trading systems for the securities and derivatives markets in Hong Kong.

Mr. Chow is currently responsible for overall IT governance, infrastructure and IT operations, information security as well as application development and support for derivatives trading, clearing, risk management and various enterprise systems operated by HKEx.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Hong Kong and a Masters degree in Electronic Business from the City University of Hong Kong.
