Mr. Scott Tam is currently responsible for channel and business development for NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) in Hong Kong. He helps NetApp to execute its go-to-market strategies together with alliance partners such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and SAP, etc. Over the past 20 years, Scott has transitioned between local and regional responsibilities in both technical and business capacities with major technology vendors such as Newbridge Networks, Huawei Technologies, and Cisco Systems. His technical knowledge spans across telecommunication systems, computer networking, data storage systems and cloud computing. Scott is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada and a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) in the UK. He is currently a member of the Technology Review Panel for the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute��s Communication Technology Domain.
