Topic: 'A Smart Cloud Makes Cities Smarter'

Reaping the benefits of building a Smart City involves deciding which services can bring the highest return, in terms of both financial return and Citizen satisfaction. The key to providing services which delight citizens is being able to deploy them quickly, grow them easily and change them constantly to improve the overall experience. Using cloud computing techniques in the IT infrastructure is the ideal way to have a fast, flexible, reliable and secure platform for the development and expansion of a Smart City. This talk will give examples of how governments have used cloud architectures to begin the journey to becoming a Smart City.
