The HanWEB range provides server-side Chinese website translation between traditional and simplified Chinese; server-side Chinese website text to speech conversion; and server-side Chinese, Japanese and Korean website text to image conversion. HanWEB also enables server-side Microsoft Office documents and PDF files to be converted into HTML format. With the vastly increased range of fonts available through HanWEB, sites in Chinese and other scripts can be further enhanced and enriched.

An effective answer to the divides between text, speech image and between languages and formats, HanWEB has within just one year obtained a number of contracts from government and quasi-government entities in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan. It is also helping to bridge the more general digital divide by making the Internet available to all.
