Suk-Wah Kwok returned to Hong Kong in October 2023 to take up the position of Chief Information Officer, Asia Pacific of TransUnion which is among the top 3 credit bureaus in the world. Prior to this, she was the Global CIO of International Finance Corporation (IFC) which is the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. This was a 3-year tenure position based in Washington DC in the US.
Suk-Wah’s IT career spans over 30 years, out of which she was in CIO capacity for 21 years in financial services institutions (FSI). Prior to her relocation to the US in 2019, she was Asia Pacific Regional CIO of Lockton Companies from 2012 to 2019, and CIO of Aon Hong Kong from 2001 to 2011 and led Aon to be the first FSI in Asia to successfully migrate key IT services to the public cloud when cloud technology was still in its infancy.
Suk-Wah is an experienced CIO well known in the industry for her courage in early adoption of leading edge technologies and her success in leading IT enabled transformations. For her long standing track record, Suk-Wah has received multiple industry recognitions. Among them, she became the first female to be awarded Top 5 CIO in China in 2015. In 2016, she was named Hong Kong CIO of the Year (Medium Enterprise Category). In 2020, she received an Outstanding ICT Women Award from HKCS. And in 2021 she was selected as one of World Top 200 CIOs as well as received the final World Top 10 DX Inspire Award that same year.
Suk-Wah graduated with a First Class Honors in Computer Science from the University of Sydney and holds an MBA majoring in Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Suk-Wah was Chairperson of the HKMA IT Management Club from 2014 to 2017, and Vice Chair from 2017 to 2020. In the Hong Kong Computer Society, she was Vice President and Honorary Treasurer from 2017 to 2020, Council Member from 2016 to 2020, and CIO Board Member from 2018 to 2020.
Outside the IT industry, Suk-Wah served in the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police from 1998 to 2018. She was a Woman Senior Inspector of Police.
郭淑華女士在2023年10月回港出任環聯香港的亞太區資訊科技總監一職。此前，她曾在美國華盛頓特區的世界銀行集團國際金融公司(IFC) 擔任全球資訊科技總監，任職了3年。
郭女士擁有30多年的資訊科技職涯，其中21年擔任金融服務機構的資訊科技總監。在2019年赴美之前，她曾擔任多家金融機構的相關要職。從2012年至2019年，她出任Lockton Companies亞太區資訊科技總監; 2001年至2011年期間，她則擔任安而保香港的資訊科技總監，並帶領該公司成為亞洲首家將關鍵IT服務遷移至公共雲端的金融機構，這在雲端技術初興時實屬不易。
郭女士是一位經驗豐富的資訊科技總監，以其勇於採用尖端技術和成功推動IT驅動的轉型而聞名業界。她的卓越表現屢獲殊榮，包括2015年成為首位入選中國五大最佳資訊科技總監的女性、2016年獲頒香港年度最佳資訊科技總監(中型企業組)、2020年獲香港電腦學會頒發傑出資訊及通訊科技女性大獎、以及2021年入選全球200大最佳資訊科技總監並獲得全球十大數字轉型啟迪獎。
郭女士畢業於悉尼大學，取得電腦科學一等榮譽學位，並擁有悉尼科技大學財務管理碩士學位。
除了專業領域,郭女士亦曾積極參與業界組織的工作。她曾於2014年至2017年擔任香港管理專業協會的資訊科技管理研究社主席，並於2017年至2020年擔任副主席。在香港電腦學會，她分別於2017年至2020年擔任副會長及義務司庫、2016年至2020年出任理事會成員、以及2018年至2020年出任資訊科技總監分部成員。
郭女士亦於1998年至2018年期間服務於香港輔助警察隊，擔任女高級督察。
