The overall objective of the Outstanding ICT Achiever Awards 2015 (hereinafter called Awards) is to give honour and recognition to the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professionals who have made significant contributions to the ICT industry in Hong Kong and to the community at large.

The objectives of the Awards are:

- To recognise individuals who excel in the ICT profession.
- To pay tribute to veterans who have made outstanding contributions to the ICT industry.
- To recognise contribution and value to the nominees' organisations.
- To promote ICT professional standard and attract more youth to join the ICT Industry.
- To raise public awareness of the importance of ICT Industry in Hong Kong.
