Award
This award stream honours and promotes examples of successful
and effective in-house application of IT to heighten the competitive
advantages of company products or services. The judging criteria
focus on functionality, productivity, competitiveness, cost
performance, and societal impact and innovated use of technology.
The Awards will be given to the organisations that have successfully
incorporated information technology into existing business
operations.
Definition of the SME of
the Best Business Award
This award stream is exclusive for the SMEs in Hong Kong.
Manufacturing companies with less than 100 employees or servicing
companies with less than 50 employees are regarded as SMEs.

Hong Kong ICT Awards 2008: Best
Business (Product) Award
This award is granted in recognition of outstanding achievements
in technological innovations. Its judging criteria are based
on functionality, innovation, marketing performance, cost
performance, research & development resources, and societal
impact.
Gold, silver and bronze awards
will be presented in three award
streams respectively. One of the gold award winners among
the three streams will be selected winner of the HKICT Award
2008: Best Business Grand Award and nominated to compete for
the ultimate accolade of the "Hong Kong ICT Award of
the Year".
