Wai Yin Wan joined MTR Corporation in 2022 as Chief Information Officer, leading the digitalization, technology innovation and technology risk management functions. He has held different roles in technical development, business process and technology management across local and multinational firms in different sectors, including retail, real estate and manufacturing.

As an accomplished technology professional, Wai Yin has held different roles in technical development, business process management and technology management in various local and multinational companies at global, regional and market levels prior to joining MTR.  Outside his professional role he serves as the board member of a non-governmental organization that provides free primary healthcare services to elderlies in need in our community.

Wai Yin obtained both the Master of Computer Science and Master of Business Administration degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Bachelor of Computer studies degree from City University of Hong Kong.
