Mr Yau Kan

Director

Fujitsu Hong Kong Limited

Mr Yau Kan, Director of Fujitsu Hong Kong, has been working in the IT industry and for the Fujitsu Group of Companies for over 23 years. He has management responsibilities for the Fujitsu IT business in the Hong Kong SAR and the retail and enterprise system business in the PRC.

Mr Kan joined ICL in England (ICL is a member of the Fujitsu Group) after his university graduation.

He returned to Hong Kong in 1980 with ICL and developed his sales and sales management career in the local market with the major accounts. In 1987, he was assigned to ICL Australia as the Marketing Manager responsible for the distributed systems throughout Australia.

Returning to ICL Hong Kong in 1990, he continued with his sales management role. He was then invited to relocate to ICL Singapore in 1992; first as the National Sales Manager and soon after that the Managing Director.

In 1996, Mr Kan took over the position as Managing Director in Hong Kong. He became Director of Fujitsu Hong Kong when the Fujitsu Group merged the ICL and Fujitsu business here in Asia in 1997.
