Nowadays, we always have our mobile phones with
us. It only takes some innovation to turn a phone app
into a direct and effective advertising tool. In light
of that, HKCS Youth Club, School of Continuing and
Professional Studies of the Chinese University of Hong
Kong (CUSCS) and Hong Kong Joint School Electronics
and Computer Society (JSECS) organised the Inter-
school Mobile Application Design Competition (IMADC)
2014. It consolidated the creative ideas of the students
to tackle the health problems of city people. The
competition has been concluded successfully, and a
sharing session cum press conference was held on the
afternoon of 6 July 2014 at Cyberport. Apart from giving
live demonstrations of the product, the award winners
also shared the design concepts and the course of their
creation, which was inspiring to all the guests.
The theme of IMADC 2014 is “Healthy Lives”. Over 200
students participated in the competition in about 60
teams. From what we could see in the press conference,
the award winners were all highly creative and specific.
They provided solutions to various common modern city
health problems, like lack of exercise, overusing of smart
phones, high stress levels, imbalance diet and obesity.
現代人「機」不離手，只要發揮創意，手機應用程式
便能成為直接、有效的宣傳工具。有見及此，香港電
腦學會青年會、香港中文大學專業進修學院及香港聯
校電子及電腦學會聯會舉辦中學校際手機應用程式設
計大賽2014，融合同學創新意念，協助解決都市健康
問題。比賽已於早前完滿結束，並於2014年7月6日下
午於數碼港舉行分享會暨新聞發佈會。本年度得獎者
除即席展示得獎作品外，亦分享了其設計理念及創作
過程，為來賓帶來創意靈感新啟發。
本年度中學校際手機應用程式設計大賽的主題為「健
康生活」，比賽有超過200位學生組成約60支隊伍參
加。就今天的分享會暨新聞發佈會現場所見，得獎作
品皆甚具創意及針對性，為用家提供各種解決常見的
現代都市健康問題（如缺少運動、過度使用智能電
話、生活壓力大、飲食不均衡及肥胖等）的建議方
案。
