Robocon 2014 Hong Kong Contest
全港大專生機械人大賽2014
Robocon 2014 Hong Kong Contest (Robocon 2014),
co-organised by Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS),
Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited
(Cyberport) and Information Technology Division of The
Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE-ITD), with
Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) as a collaborative
advisor was successfully held on 22 June 2014 in
Cyberport.
Robocon is an international contest where teams
comprised of post-secondary students and instructors
compete in a series of predetermined activities with
robots designed and built by the teams to demonstrate
their engineering skills. This year the theme “A Salute to
Parenthood” was selected for Robocon 2014, aimed at
encouraging local students’ development in mechanical
engineering, electronics and computer programming
with joint projects and cooperation between various
university departments and students.
由香港電腦學會（HKCS）、香港數碼港管理有
限公司（數碼港）及香港工程師學會（HK I E）資
訊科技分部，以及是次比賽的製作顧問香港電台
（RTHK）聯合舉辦的《全港大專生機械人大賽2014
》（Robocon2014）2014年6月22日假數碼港完滿舉
行。
Robocon是一個國際性的機械人比賽，由大專生和導
師組成的隊伍互相比拼創意和設計意念。參賽的隊伍
需按照大會訂下的規則，設計及製作機械人。以「親
子樂融融」為主題，《全港大專生機械人大賽2014》
鼓勵本地學生在機械工程，電子和電腦程式設計方面
的發展，並透過比賽的方式增強各大專院校和學生之
間的合作。
