Mr. Duncan Chiu
Chairman of Lai Yuen Amusement Park and Managing Director of
Radiant Venture Capital
Mr. Chiu has almost 20 years of investment and M&A experience in
the Greater China region. He has invested in a portfolio of tech
related companies and had three investments listed in the Hong
Kong Stock Exchange and one in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
In 2014, together with Dr. Gordon Yen they founded Radiant Venture
Capital which focus in investments into early stage tech companies
in Greater China and Israel. Mr. Chiu has also relaunched Lai Yuen
Amusement Park in the summer of 2015 at Hong Kong’s Central
Harbourfront which is an icon event of the year with more than 1
million visitors recapturing their childhood memories and celebrating
new joyful moments with their families and friends. Mr. Chiu also
served as Chairman of Hong Kong Software Industry Association
from 2008 to 2014. He is currently the President of Hong Kong
Information Technology Joint Council, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong
Business Angel Network, Group 30 Vice-Chairman (Creative
Industries) of Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Secretary General
of Asian Squash Federation, Member of the Chinese People’s
Political Consultative Conference – Shanghai Committee, 10th and
11th Committee Member of All-China Youth Federation and Vice
Chairman of Henan Provincial Youth Federation. Mr. Chiu holds a
BA degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University,
USA.
