Mr. Sagi Karni
Consul General of the State of Israel in HKSAR and Macao SAR
Consul General (CG) Sagi Karni joined the Israeli Foreign Service
in 1995, and served in the Israeli Embassies in Beijing, Oslo as
Deputy Head of Mission and Counselor of the Israeli delegation to
the EU in Brussels. Prior to assuming the post as Israel Consul
General in Hong Kong he served as Ambassador in Angola and
Mozambique.
CG Karni specializes in energy politics and served as an adviser to
the Minister of Energy and Water Resources.
He is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (BSc), as
well as the Tel-Aviv University (MA).
