Airbnb
Henek is currently the General Manager for Hong Kong & Taiwan at
Airbnb. He was part of the first landing team that started Airbnb
operations in Asia through setting up the Singapore hub. In his previous
roles as Head of Sales for Northeast Asia and later General Manager for
Greater China, he was instrumental in Airbnb’s presence in the region
and oversaw the hypergrowth of the company in Asia. Henek joined
Airbnb in 2012, previously from Macquarie and JP Morganc where he
held roles as Vice President in Sales Trading, servicing large institutional
and funds that traded into APAC. He holds a Bachelor in Civil
Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in the USA.
