Systems Engineering Director, Hong Kong, South China and Taiwan,
Symantec
Lawrence Li is systems engineering director for Symantec Hong Kong,
South China and Taiwan, responsible for ensuring all IT strategies for the
territories are executed in alignment with the corporate global standard.
Leading an engineering team, Li plays a key role in delivering prominent
IT projects with his responsibilities ranging from solution planning and
implementation to project management.
Li joined VERITAS Software in 1999 and started working for Symantec
Hong Kong as senior system engineer in 2004 following the company’s
acquisition of VERITAS Software.
Li has a strong background in engineering and product management in
the local IT industry. Before working at Symantec, Li was system
engineer for Seagate Software Hong Kong, a company he joined in early
1999. Prior to this role, he was senior system engineer for leading system
integration company Powerwave where he led a team selling networking
solutions.
Lawrence graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s
degree in Computer Engineering.
