Chinese Smart City 2014: Delegation to Wuxi and Suzhou
2014中國智慧城市：無錫、蘇州訪問團
In recent years, government of the countries spared
no effort to initiate Smart City, hoping to raise the
standard of public service and create sustainable
living environment through applying new generation
of information technology such as Internet of Things,
Cloud Computing, Big Data Analysis and Mobile Internet
into different structures and lives of the public in the
cities. Currently, the structures of Smart City have been
initiated in numerous cities in China. In order to enhance
the members’ understanding of the development
planning and management models of Smart Cities on
the Mainland, HKCS made arrangement for members
the visit Wuxi and Suzhou on 19-22 November 2014,
during which there were direct communications with
the representative of local government and enterprises.
近年來各國政府對智慧城市（Smart City）的推展不
遺餘力，希望透過新一代的資訊科技如物聯網、雲計
算、大數據分析、移動互聯網等，應用到城市中的各
種建設及民眾生活，從而提升公共服務水平，並營造
可持續發展的生活環境。目前智慧城市的建設已經在
中國多個城市展開，為增進會員對內地智慧城市的發
展規劃和管理模式的了解，香港電腦學會於2014年11
月19至22日組織會員到無錫、蘇州兩地考察參觀，並
與當地的市政府代表和企業直接交流。
