Outside of Hong Kong, CIOB participated in a major
Greater China CIO Forum in Shanghai in September
2014. During the Forum, Ir. Ted Suen, HKCS Vice
President presented how to enhance the role of IT to
MTRC’s business through the strategies of restructuring
the IT framework. During the CIO panel discussion,
Chairperson Mr.Sunny Lee,JP and Ir.Ted Suen also shared
their insights on the latest IT trends and key elements
that are currently shaping IT, business and industry.
Through those in-depth sharing and the discussions, the
Forum provided an excellent opportunity for IT leaders
from across Greater China to become better connected.
During the AGM in March 2015, Mr. Sunny Lee, JP
indicated his decision to step down as CIOB Chairperson
after serving for 3 years. Mr. Joe Locandro, Director,
Information Technology, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited,
was elected the new Chairperson for the coming term of
2015-2017. Under Joe’s leadership, CIOB looks forward
to continue its success in achieving its mission and
taking its industry impacts and community contributions
to new heights.

了一項大型的大中華資訊科技總監論壇。在論壇上，
香港電腦學會副主席孫耀達工程師演示了如何透過資
訊科技架構重整的策略，改善資訊科技在港鐵集團的
角色。於資訊科技總監小組討論中，小組主席李惠光
太平紳士和孫耀達工程師均分享了他們就最新資訊科
技趨勢和現時塑造資訊科技、商業和業界的重要元素
的看法。透過這些深入的分享和討論，論壇提供了大
中華地區資訊科技領導間更緊密連繫的上佳機會。
在2015年3月舉行的周年大會上，李惠光太平紳士表
示決定退任已擔任三年的資訊總監分部主席，而國泰
航空有限公司訊息科技董事羅建昊先生獲選為今屆（
即2015至2017年）之新主席。在羅建昊先生的領導
下，資訊總監分部可望繼續成功達成目標，做業界造
成影響，並可社區貢獻帶到新的高度。
