To help build friendships between the youths, there was
a secret angel game in which the combination of master
and angel had been kept confidential until the last night
of the camp. Participants had been surprised by little
gifts from their secret angels and made more friends
from different regions through this game.
Mr. Robin Lo, the Chairperson of the Organising
Committee of Shanghai-Hong Kong-Taiwan Youth IT
Summer Camp 2014, said that, “20 elite secondary
students were selected as Hong Kong representatives,
participating in the 5-day cultural exchange with youths
from Shanghai and Taiwan and showing their talents
through a series of competitions and presentations.
During the camp, we also made good use of information
technology and digital devices to explore and to
experience Taiwanese culture. Although information
technologyis the keytopicof the summer camp,exploring
Taiwan is also the highlighted point. I hope that you
now know more about Taiwanese aboriginal tribes, for
example, the Bunun tribe.’’ Participants indicated their
interest in Bunun folk songs today, seeing it as an easy
and interesting way to discover the culture of different
tribes. Apart from this, the youths were also impressed
by the environmental protection in Taiwan, saying that
‘’they find the right balance between urbanisation and
heritage conservation. We can easily see historical
places in the modern Taipei city. For example, I found
the bullet holes in National Taiwan University from
Sino-Japanese War extremely unforgettable.’’
為拉近參加者彼此之間的關係，大會亦設立小天使活
動，於夏令營開始時抽籤決定小天使及小主人的組
合，並於夏令營結束前一天晚上公佈名單。不少參加
者都透過相互關心和幫助，與來自不同地方的營友建
立情誼。
「2014滬港台青少年IT夏令營」籌備委員會主席盧
永平表示：「我們在香港的中學中選出二十位最優秀
的學生代表，代表香港與上海、台灣兩地學生一起進
行為期五天的文化交流，通過不同的主題項目同台競
技、相互切磋，充分展示了香港下一代年輕人聰明活
潑、朝氣蓬勃的精神面貌。大家靈活地使用移動科技
裝置去看見、去體驗、去分享台灣風土文化。雖然夏
令營的主題圍繞資訊科技，但發掘台灣的特色亦是重
點之一。例如，從大會安排的開幕典禮中，相信大家
都略為認識到台灣原住民，如布農族等源遠流長的文
化。」從同學的分享可見，大會安排的布農族的部落
歌謠表演令他們留下深刻印象，有助鼓勵年輕人發掘
及了解傳統的原住民文化。除此以外，營友對於台灣
的保育工作亦印象深刻。青年在分享時提到：「台灣
在城市化與歷史保育之間取得了平衡，在現代城市中
不難發現到古色古香的歷史痕跡，例如台大的日戰時
期子彈孔便令我很難忘。」
