As the opinion leader in the area of information security
and governance, the Executive Committee Members of
the Information Security and Privacy Special Interest
Group (ISPSIG) always uphold our duty to send the right
messages to organisations to increase investment in IT
and information security and privacy as we understand
that it is often during difficult times that fraud
opportunities tend to surface.
By organising and participating in public seminars
and attending interviews, we promote information
security awareness, the corresponding risk and control
assessment, and proper security protection methods.
We also actively assist the HKSAR Government and the
community in developing information-security related
policies and guidelines.
The 12th annual Information Security Summit and
Workshops 2014 held from 13 to 28 Oct was one of
the successful examples. With the theme of “Enhancing
Business Governance to Embrace the Internet of
Everything – Anticipating and Responding to Security
Risks”, this 2014 Summit was supplemented by a number
of popular workshops. This Summit truly reflects the
unique bond of the information security practitioners in
Hong Kong and the ISPSIG will definitely continue to
play a pivotal role in future Summits.
The ISPSIG has been looking forward to serving our
members and the community in the coming year, by
continuing to offer high quality seminars, workshops
and social activities. Finally, we would like to thank
the Executive Committee Members and all the guest
speakers for their whole-hearted support over the last
year. We cannot do the job with such ease without
them. With your continuous support, 2015 will surely be
another successful year to come.
作為資訊保安和管理方面的意見領袖，資訊保安及私
隱分部的執行委員會成員一直堅持履行責任，向各機
構傳遞正確的信息，鼓勵它們增加在資訊科技和保安
的投資，從而避免於經濟困難時出現的商業欺詐。
透過舉辦及參與公開性的討論會和訪問，從而推廣資
訊安全、相應的風險和評估控制，以及適當的保安防
護措施；我們還積極協助香港特區政府和公眾制定有
關資訊安全的政策和指引。
於二零一四年十月十三日至廿八日舉行的第十二屆年
度資訊保安高峰會及工作坊便是其中一個成功例子。
其主題為「促進商業管治擁抱萬物互聯，預測及回應
保安風險」，並附設了一些受歡迎的工作坊。這次高
峰會真實地反映了資訊保安從業員間獨特的聯繫；在
往後的高峰會中，資訊保安及私隱分部將繼續擔當居
中的關鍵角色。
資訊保安及私隱分部將在新一年繼續提供高質素的研
討會、工作坊和社區活動。最後，我們衷心感謝執行
委員會成員和所有的嘉賓講者在年內全心全意的支
持，以至我們能順利地完成有助業界發展的活動。二
零一五年將必是另一個成功的年度。
