Dr C L Chan

Dr C L Chan graduated from the University of Hong Kong with the B SC, PhD and MBA in 1981, 1988 and 1992 respectively. He has been working in the Hongkong Telecom for 12 years and has wide exposure in telecommunications and IT industries. Now, he is the General Manager of Business Solutions, also the Y2K Programme Director of the Company. His responsibility is overlooking the Millennium Compliance Program of the whole Hongkong Telecom Group. Besides, he is also responsible for the e-commerce services development.

In May 1999, Dr Chan was appointed by the Vocational Training Council as a member of its Committee on Information Technology Training.

Dr Chan is also an active member in promoting Hong Kong to move to the new information era.
