Mr Patrick C K Hung

Mr Patrick Hung is a Solution Developer at Cyberplex Interactive Media Inc (www.cyberplex.com) currently working on the Canadian largest electronic commerce project "Chapters" (www.chapters.ca and www.chaptersglobe.com) which is being developed in Canada. He is also a as part-time PhD student at Department of Computer Science in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He was formerly working at Cyberspace Center (www.cyber.ust.hk) of HKUST as an Assistant Computer Engineer for web-based smart card projects. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 1992 and Master of Philosophy in Computer Science degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1995. His working experience is mainly on the web-based electronic commerce application research and development for both industrial and academic field. His research interests include workflow management system for electronic commerce, security and privacy, smart card application, web-based database integration and recommendation engine. He has published more than 30 technical papers and articles in the above areas. He is also a reviewer of IEEE Internet Computing since 1998. His biographical data is included in the 16th Edition of MARQUIS Who's Who in the World, USA, 1999.
