Dr Albert Chi-yuen Lo

Executive Manager, Division of Operations

Hong Kong Hospital Authority

After graduation from the Medical School of the University of Hong Kong in 1986, Dr Lo joined the civil service and worked as a physician in public hospitals. Later, he undertook higher professional training in Nephrology and Transplantation at the Department of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong and the Department of Surgery, the University of Oxford and became a qualified Nephrologist.

In 1997, he turned to healthcare administration and became the Executive Manager of the Division of Operations in Hospital Authority Head Office. Dr Lo is currently responsible for coordinating the operations of eight hospitals in the Hong Kong West Cluster. His other role is to oversee the development of the Y2K contingency plan of the Hospital Authority.
