Web Integrated Smart Card Programming for Electronic Commerce

In this paper, we present an overview on the technologies of smart card and Java card, and to show how they can fit into the - architectures for electronic commerce applications on web by illustrating the SmartFlow Internet Payment System. In particular, we emphasize on primitive techniques of smart card programming, and its access through web interface. Finally, we will illustrate the usefulness of smart card technologies by demonstrating the electronic commerce applications built at Cyberspace Center, HKUST.
